Favorite Fic: I think my favorite story I wrote this year is Happiness Is. It was the longest in the making. It was originally supposed to be a Yewook story about Yesung searching for himself, but I never actually wrote it, and then I took the idea of visible souls and it morphed into the Happiness Is plot. I worked out this world and story more than I did any other story (oddly enough,) and killed myself on it. Also,
shigai did some awesome art. I still can't get over it.
Best Fic: This is difficult. Happiness Is was good, but I actually think We Walk WIth Shadows was better. I didn't spend as much time on it as I did on other worlds, and it was a little farfetched and the characterization wasn't quite what I wanted, but I was pleased with it. It was my first, serious foray into present tense writing, and I did work hard on it. Plus, it was all crossover and that was really satisfying to accomplish. Idk. I really think it's one of the better things I've written.
Most under appreciated: I Might Miss You, Babe (A Boy, a Girl, and a Game). Difficult to write, spent forever on it, really fucking proud of it, etc. Close runner-up for "Favorite Fic." Second for this is Castle in the Sky.
Most over appreciated: Business Proposal. Not my best piece of fiction, but for some reason people seem to like. I don't know why.
Most fun to write: Also easy. MINJIN. Tell Me How To Love You. I would also categorize this as "Most Satisfying to Write." I love law!verse, and that I have people who love it as much as I do makes me very happy :DD
Sexiest fic: Errrrr. :( Idk. Something Decidedly Hot or Because I Can't Stay Away. Both sexy, but in different ways.
Funniest: Idk that I'm all that funny. But I will occasionally re-read 1988 Seoul Kyudonnay for a few giggles, which if I may say, has like the worst title ever. Idk what I was thinking.
Saddest: Snowflake Hearts. Sad, but hopeful.
Biggest surprise(s): 1) How many stories I wrote over 10k. :DD Gives me hope for this year. 2) How much love everyone gave me. THANK YOU.
Hardest to write: In terms of just "writing" Castle in the Sky was hard to finish. But in terms of subject matter, Happiness Is and I Might Miss You Babe were also very difficult. For obvious reasons :(
Fics I'm most proud of: SO HARD. I will say all of the above, for sure. Probably more than any others, but since I already talked about them, I would say Love in Monochrome because I wrote 16k in two weeks. :D But also, Flying Broken Sky, because I was able to kill people and still make it (imo) pretty.
For this year: Write quicker, come up with some more ideas and participate in challenges again. I liked doing it; less scary than I thought.
Things I want to improve on: Less typos, better characterizations, better description, not lean on dialogue so much. Have more confidence in myself.
Also: There are a lot of reasons I write. One is so that I can continually get better. I feel like, at least a little, I have been. Thank you for letting me practice on you and the boys (and girls) we love.
And some of my top-used words for lulz. Notice Heechul's name... :D Clearly, I have a bias.

Now it's your turn. I would love for you to tell me what you thought of my writing this year using the questions above, of your own, or whatever. I'm curious :) Would also like you to add "Things I'd like to See You Write."

AND THANK YOU. It felt oddly self-serving posting about fics I wish got more love, but it was good in a way. Made me think about how I post things and where I post them and that really, it doesn't matter how much love I feel that they should get. Just that one person read it is enough for me! :)
/rambles with you :(

i know what you mean, because there are those fics that you just think is going to get so many comments and love, but then it doesn't, whilst others do, even if they aren't as good/you didn't put as much effort into them...
true, i should follow your example, not care about all that
but who doesn't like comments/shot/really needs to stop rambling
